Mayan Cycle Kawak
M A Y A N    C Y C L E    K A W A K

From 27 Feb to 11 March, a period of 13 days, we live under the Mayan Kawak Cycle.
In these 13 days, Kawak, the symbol of the Thunderstorm for the Mayas, helps us to release a lot of accumulated negative karma from the past.
The cloud grows thicker and denser, until the day comes when the thunderstorm creates conditions for liberation. It is a very powerful force that must not be controlled or repressed and that brings peace and order. It is a blessing to create conditions for this great purification. Prisons, repressed emotions, negative patterns, fears that we carry from the past and that will emerge to be released. It is a period of great emotional turmoil, with ups and downs, and physical symptoms can result from this purification.
In the midst of the storm we must know to return to the center, to the eye of the hurricane, and to learn to feel without being stuck to what surrounds us. We surrender to this powerful force and without resistance we surrender to this great karmic liberation.

Kawak  accompanies us for 13 days on a "Path of Liberation".
In this Mayan Cycle we will have 2 days of Cosmic Portals:
7 Chikchan - March 5 - through vital energy we can harmonize the physical body
10 Lamat - March 8 - portal to express love, sweetness and sensibility

"Cosmic portals are days when the dimensional doors of the planet are open and we can receive more Light in our lives. The Light upon entering illuminates what we have of good... and illuminates what we have hidden and that we do not want to see. These are days with strong energy and as such we should focus our mind on gratitude and unconditional love to manifest harmony in all aspects of our lives."
